How Corporate Partners Make Literacy Possible

July 24, 2025In Get Involved2 Minutes

The Library Project’s work would not be possible without the support of our partners. In the first half of 2025, our progress was made possible by the generosity of FedEx, tesa, Bestseller, ForusGroup, The Learning Adventure, Hangzhou International School, Tata, Maovember, the Peter Yu Family, and the Zhang Jiarong Family.

Their contributions directly translated into the donation of Reading Rooms, Reading Corners, and Children’s Literacy Bags, as well as the donation of nearly 18,000 books across 13 schools. This collective effort benefited more than 7,600 students, creating opportunities for children to learn, explore, and thrive in schools that previously lacked access to such resources.

Corporate social responsibility is most effective when it has tangible, measurable outcomes. For our partners, their support is not only a financial contribution—it is a lasting investment in education and community development. For example, by supporting the creation of a Reading Room, a corporate donor ensures that hundreds of children each year have access to thousands of books, improved classroom resources, and better learning opportunities.

The Library Project works closely with all partners to align contributions with impact. This includes transparent reporting, opportunities for employee engagement, and visibility into how donations transform schools and communities. Many of our partners also utilize these collaborations to strengthen their internal culture, demonstrating to employees that their company is committed to meaningful, long-term social change.

The success of the first half of 2025 demonstrates what is possible when corporations, foundations, families, and nonprofits join forces.
