One dollar. One book. Every month.
At The Library Project, we believe every child deserves access to books.
That’s why we created The Book Club, a simple way for people around the world to give just $1 per month and help place books into the hands of children who need them most.
One dollar may feel small. But together, it adds up to something powerful.
Why $1 Matters
At The Library Project, we’ve spent two decades building one of the most cost-effective literacy models in the nonprofit sector.
Because of our partnerships and book sourcing model:
$1 = 1 children’s book *
That means your monthly donation directly helps place books into rural schools, classrooms, and community libraries where access to reading materials is limited.
One book can inspire curiosity.
One book can change a child’s future.
How It Works
Joining The Book Club is simple.
- Donate $1 per month
- Choose the country you’d like to support
- Your donation funds one children’s book *
- That book becomes part of a library used by hundreds of students
Every month, The Book Club members help expand libraries, classrooms, and reading programs around the world.
The Global Cost of a Book
We strive to donate the highest quality brand-new children’s books available in each country where we work. We do this because every child deserves a quality education. Globally, children’s books vary widely in cost. You will be able to designate a country for your donation to support. We use $1.00 as an average cost, but the country you designate might have higher children’s book costs.
Please contact us with any questions. We love to talk about books. Thank you in advance for your support of children’s literacy.
