Welcoming FEED as Our Newest Global Partner
The Library Project is excited to welcome the Foundation for Educational Equity and Development (FEED) as our newest Global Partner, expanding our work to improve children’s literacy in Ghana.
FEED is a youth-led nonprofit organization working to advance education equity for children and communities across Ghana. Through community-led programs, the organization expands access to books, literacy support, and educational opportunities for children in underserved communities.
As a Global Partner, The Library Project will support two of FEED’s literacy initiatives: Community Literacy Caravan and Library Corners.
The Community Literacy Caravan takes reading, storytelling, and learning activities directly into communities, creating engaging literacy experiences for children outside traditional classroom settings.
Library Corners brings curated, age-appropriate books directly into schools and classrooms, creating accessible reading spaces for students who may otherwise have limited access to books. These collections help schools build a stronger culture of reading while giving children more opportunities to read throughout the school day.

Founded in 2022, the Foundation for Educational Equity and Development (FEED) works to break down barriers to education and create opportunities for children and young people to learn and thrive. Its flagship Libraries Without Walls initiative brings books, literacy support, creative learning, digital education, and STEM activities into underserved communities across Ghana. The program was recognized with the 2024 UNESCO King Sejong Literacy Prize for its innovative approach to literacy education and community impact.
