10,000 Downloads: Free Tools & Resources for Nonprofits Around the World
The Library Project has reached an exciting milestone: our Free Tools and Resources have now been downloaded more than 10,000 times since February 2026.
Created to help nonprofit organizations strengthen their day-to-day operations, the collection includes practical resources for fundraising, budgeting and finance, program management, Board governance, literacy programming, and more. Most of the resources are fully editable working files, allowing organizations to download them, customize them, and put them to use immediately.
What has been especially encouraging is the growth in usage. In September alone, more than 2,000 resources were downloaded from our website—our highest monthly total to date.
Among the most popular resources are our Nonprofit Toolkit, Program Budget Template, Annual Organization Budget with Cash Flow, Fundraising Pipeline, and Board Bylaws templates. But the 10,000-download milestone is not being driven by just a few files. Organizations are accessing dozens of different tools across nearly every area of nonprofit management.
These resources are part of The Library Project’s Global Partnerships initiative, which works with locally led nonprofit organizations to strengthen literacy programs around the world. In addition to providing free tools, we support partners through capacity building, fundraising support, program funding, and shared learning.
We believe useful nonprofit resources should be practical, accessible, and easy to adapt. Reaching 10,000 downloads is an encouraging sign that these tools are helping organizations spend less time starting from scratch and more time focusing on the communities they serve.
