Our Global Partnership Strategy
The Library Project strengthens children’s literacy by partnering with local nonprofit organizations that understand the needs, languages, and education systems of their communities. These trusted NPOs and NGOs implement programs on the ground, ensuring every library, book donation, and literacy activity is culturally relevant and locally led. Partners also benefit from our more than twenty years of experience, gaining support in operations, program monitoring and evaluation, and access to international fundraising capacity that is often costly or difficult for smaller organizations to build on their own.
By working through local partners rather than establishing large field offices, The Library Project keeps operating and overhead costs low, directing more donor funding into programs that benefit children, teachers, and families. This partnership-driven model focuses resources where they matter most: providing books, building libraries, training educators, and helping parents foster a love of reading at home. Together, we reach more communities, strengthen local literacy ecosystems, and create lasting change for children around the world.
