Supporting the Next “Ladybug” Library in Rural Vietnam

April 27, 2026In Global Partnerships, Vietnam2 Minutes

The Library Project is pleased to share that we have made a second contribution of 10,000,000 VND (approximately $390 USD) to support an upcoming library project led by NON Library, one of our Global Partners in Vietnam.

This new project will mark NON Library’s fourth library donation to a rural school in Vietnam, continuing their work to create engaging, student-centered learning spaces that expand access to books and foster a love of reading.

Following the success of previous projects, the upcoming library will once again feature NON Library’s signature “Ladybug” theme. This creative design approach transforms traditional library spaces into colorful, welcoming environments that immediately capture students’ attention and encourage them to explore. With its playful aesthetic and thoughtful layout, the Ladybug library concept has become a defining element of NON Library’s work, helping turn reading into an experience that feels both exciting and accessible.

Through this contribution, The Library Project continues to support locally led literacy initiatives that are practical, scalable, and deeply connected to the communities they serve. By partnering with organizations like NON Library, we can help bring high-quality books and inspiring learning spaces to schools where resources are often limited.

Each library project represents more than just a physical space. It is an investment in students, teachers, and the broader community. Libraries create opportunities for students to build reading habits, strengthen comprehension skills, and develop curiosity that extends beyond the classroom. When combined with thoughtful design and community engagement, these spaces become hubs of learning and creativity.

As this next Ladybug library takes shape, we invite our community to be part of the journey. Donations of any size help bring books and libraries to students who need them most, and together, we can continue building spaces where reading thrives.

About The Library Project

The Library Project envisions a world where every child has access to a quality education, and that starts with literacy. Since 2006, they have benefited more than 1,000,000 children and teachers through more than 8,000 library donations. Their programs include Reading Rooms, Reading Corners, and Children’s Literacy Bags, all designed to create educational spaces where children can learn and grow. The Library Project is committed to measurable impact and continuous support for rural elementary schools, kindergartens, orphanages, community centers, and the home.
