Our first library of the Fall Semester!

September 12, 2018In China, Library Donation1 Minutes

Two days after World Literacy Day, The Library Project donated our first library of the 2018 Fall semester. This library was made possible by a generous financial donation by CMGE中手游.

This beautiful library benefited 392 students. Tables, chairs and shelving packed with local language books. Children gain access to a beautiful school library providing fun and interesting children’s books that teach children about kindness, bravery, engineering, science and the environment. It is our hope that this new space will spark their imagination and promote a lifelong love of reading. The books that we donate are 100% age appropriate local language children’s books; books that children get excited about reading.

This library would not have been made possible without support from the CMGE employee volunteers and our strategic partner The Lingshan Charity Foundation. Thank you everyone!

Please take a few moments to celebrate this very special library donation by checking out the photos below.
