Giving Thanks for a Year of Impact

As we approach Thanksgiving, a season rooted in gratitude and giving, we reflect on the extraordinary support that has made 2024 a year of impact. For our American supporters or those who celebrate Thanksgiving, this is a time to celebrate community and generosity. At The Library Project, we are deeply thankful for our corporate, foundation, and individual partners, as well as the dedication of government officials, principals, teachers, and students, who have all contributed to transforming education in underserved communities.

In 2024, 69 schools received new libraries through our programs, impacting 35,039 students. These libraries provide essential resources such as books, STEAM Boxes, and learning tools, fostering a love for reading and critical thinking. This achievement is a testament to the power of collaboration and the shared belief that every child deserves access to quality education.

At the heart of our programs are our Book Content Core Values, which guide the selection of books and materials for every library. These values emphasize diversity, inclusion, STEAM education, environmental awareness, girls’ education, and the promotion of world peace. By aligning with these principles, we ensure that our libraries inspire not just academic growth but also compassion and global understanding. Learn more about our values here.

As we give thanks this season, we invite you to join us in making a difference. By becoming a monthly donor, you can help sustain our mission to provide children with the tools they need to succeed. Together, we can empower even more students in 2025 and beyond.
