The Library Project and Jusoor Partner to Bring Books to Refugee Communities in Lebanon
The Library Project is pleased to announce a partnership with Jusoor, which expands our global network of literacy organizations and supports access to books for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon.
Through this partnership, The Library Project and Jusoor will work together to provide Book Donations to community centers located in refugee camps. These donations will bring high-quality, age-appropriate children’s books into safe and supportive learning spaces where children can read, learn, and explore new ideas.
For many Syrian refugee children and families, access to educational resources can be limited. Books play an important role in helping children continue learning, strengthen literacy skills, and build confidence during times of displacement and transition. By placing books directly into community centers, this initiative helps ensure that children have recurring access to reading materials in spaces designed to support their growth and well-being.
The Library Project’s Book Donation program is designed to put books into the hands of children who need them most. Each donation helps expand access to literature, supports daily reading habits, and strengthens the educational environments that children and families rely on as they work to rebuild their lives through education.
