Working Together for Global Literacy

At The Library Project, we believe that every child deserves access to books, quality education, and the chance to fall in love with reading — no matter where they live. Our Global Partnerships program extends our mission beyond our program countries by working hand-in-hand with nonprofit organizations, schools, and community groups around the world.

Through collaboration, we share our experience building libraries, training teachers, and strengthening literacy programs. Together, we develop sustainable, locally led solutions that ensure more children can read, learn, and thrive.

Global Partners

We formally partner with registered nonprofit organizations that share our commitment to improving literacy outcomes for children. Partnerships take many forms, from programmatic and operational support to fundraising and collaborative grant opportunities.

Our team works closely with each partner to adapt The Library Project’s proven models to local needs and education systems, ensuring that every partnership builds capacity and delivers long-term impact.

Support for Literacy Initiatives

Not every effort begins with a large organization — many start with passionate individuals and communities. We’re proud to support grassroots literacy initiatives that bring people together around the power of reading.

These initiatives have taken many forms, including student-led fundraisers, community book drives, and volunteer-led literacy events that raise awareness and resources for libraries and schools in need.

Whether you’re a student group, educator, or community organizer, The Library Project can help you design meaningful ways to make an impact.
