Meet Our Team

The Library Project has an amazing full-time staff team that strives to improve education one book at a time. Our highly dedicated teams work together to create an organization that positively impacts the lives of underprivileged children. 100% of our program teams are locals. For this reason, they understand the challenges that each country holds and are able to provide hundreds of libraries to rural communities annually.

How We Do It

From the ground up, dedicated and passionate TLP team members work closely with local governments, boards of education, local communities, teachers, students, volunteers, and donors. We strive to involve our volunteers and donors in almost every donation aspect, as transparency is a cornerstone of The Library Project. Our entire team is involved in every aspect of our library donations. A great deal of coordinated effort is involved with our library donations. All the team’s hard work is well worth the effort with just a single smile from a deserving child.

Our Approach to Governance

At The Library Project, we believe our team has a voice in its internal governance. We created the Internal Board of Directors, which is made up of our organization’s internal leadership. Every day, this team works together to set the direction of the organization and also sits on many of our external boards as non-voting members. Their voice helps to strengthen our external boards’ relevance and achieve a greater programmatic impact.
