Meet Our Team

The Library Project has an amazing team of full-time staff that tirelessly strive to improve education one book at a time. Our highly-dedicated teams located in Cambodia, China and Vietnam work together to create an organization that positively impacts the lives of underprivileged children. 100% of our program teams are locals. For this reason they understand the challenges that each country holds and are able to provide hundreds of libraries to rural communities annually.

How We Do It

From the ground up, dedicated and passionate TLP team members work closely with local governments, boards of education, local communities, teachers, students, volunteers, and donors. We strive to involve our volunteers and donors in almost every aspect of the donation, as transparency is a cornerstone of The Library Project. Our entire team is involved in every aspect of our library donations. A great deal of coordinated effort is involved with each of our library donations. All the team’s hard work is well-worth the tireless effort with just a single smile from a deserving child.

Our Approach to Governance

At The Library Project we believe our team has a voice in its internal governance. In 2010 we created the Internal Board of Directors made up of our organization’s internal leadership. Everyday this team work together to set the direction of the organization and also sits on many of our external boards as non-voting members. Their voice helps to strengthen our external boards relevance and to achieve a greater programmatic impact.
