Parkson is The Library Project’s first Vietnam donor

The Library Project – April 2013

book-donatedThe Library Project is a non-profit charity organization that donates books and libraries to the under-financed schools in Vietnam, China and Cambodia. Up to now, The Library Project has donated more than 1000 local language libraries for elementary schools in remote areas of both China and Vietnam.

Parkson has become The Library Project’s first corporate donor to support library donations in Vietnam. At the end of April 2013, Parkson employees joined The Library Project staff in the donation of 4 libraries. These libraries are located in Ha Noi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City.

“It is wonderful to have Parkson as our first Vietnam based donor. They created a lasting impact at each of the schools in Ha Noi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City through the donation of beautiful Reading Rooms,” said Tom Stader, Executive Director and Founder of The Library Project.
