On Sunday, September 20th, Tom Stader did a TEDx Talk in Dalian, China. He spoke about his personal journey founding The Library Project. His talk focused on the first two years, the challenges he faced and the impact the organization has achieved. We’ll be sure to post a video once it is live.  For now, take a look at the photos below.

A huge thank you to everyone at TEDx for the opportunity to tell our story.

About The Library Project

The Library Project is dedicated to improving rural education in China and worldwide by providing children with access to libraries, literacy programs, and teacher training. Since 2006, they have benefited over a million children and teachers through more than 3,000 library donations. Their programs include Reading Rooms, Reading Corners, and Children’s Literacy Bags, all designed to create educational spaces where children can learn and grow. The Library Project is committed to measurable impact and continuous support for rural elementary schools, kindergartens, orphanages, community centers, and the home.
