Reading Room: Six tables, thirty chairs, educational toys, plants, bean bags and a globe was donated. A Librarian Training Course was also conducted for all teachers.
 
       
 

The library donation to Yue Ba Elementary School was made possible by Patrick Watene of Global Horticulture and Mark Franklin of PFW. Both Patrick and Mark have been supporters of The Library Project from the very beginning. This was a very special library for everyone at The Library Project because Patrick and Mark not only got their companies involved, but they also got their families involved on the library donation day as volunteers.

A huge thank you to the Watene and Franklin families, Global Horticulture and PFW for all of their support.

  
     
 

The Painting Project!


Artists from the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts made the journey to Yue Ba Elementary School one month before the library donation. The school administration painted the walls white before they arrived, so they had a blank canvas to create from.


A lot of planning went into the painting of the library room.

Donation Day!


The Watene and Franklin families made the journey to Yue Ba Elementary School for the library donation. The Library Project team and the school administration conducting a simple Library Donation Ceremony.

Arts and crafts were conducted. All of the students were asked to bring a rock from their home to school that day. We then painted that rock after the reading activities.
