Overview

The Library Project's partners are a huge reason for our success. Our corporate and in-kind partners provide us with generous financial and organizational support. Without their support, we would not have been able to improve the education at so many rural elementary schools and orphanages throughout China. Below are a few of our major donors, for a full list please contact us.

Employee Involvement

The Library Project likes to get employees working for companies involved in the donation of their donated library. Employees help with conducting activities with children, delivering donation items, conducting librarian training Courses and sorting books. It is a great way for corporate employees to improve the education at a rural elementary school while also becoming closer to their fellow employees.

Example of Involvement
Cummins has donated 43 rural elementary school and orphanage libraries since Fall 2008. Hundreds of employees have gotten involved at all levels of library donations. These libraries have went into 14 regions around their factories throughout China.

员工参与

捐赠方的员工经常会参与到图书馆的捐赠活动中来。作为志愿者，和孩子们做游戏，搬运捐赠物资，分类图书，为受赠方开展图书管理员培训课程等。这种直接参与到捐赠活动中的方式，不仅让各位亲身体验到通过自己的双手为改善农村小学教育所奉献的力量，同时也拉近了同事们之间的距离。

实例
康明斯从2008年秋天开始，在全国范围内为43所农村小学和孤儿院捐赠了各具特色的儿童图书馆，14个地区的康明斯公益小组参与了这些图书馆的捐赠活动，并且成百上千的康明斯员工参与到了图书馆捐赠的各个环节。

Adopt a Library

The Library Project has developed the "Adopt a Library" program. This is a great way for companies to make a substantial difference in the lives of children living in the developing world. Employees are encouraged to participate with their library donation and is a great way to see exactly how they have made a difference in the lives of the students attending the elementary school. You will receive a Library Completion Report, photos, and regular updates throughout the process of your libraries.

Example of Involvement
PFW has donated three rural elementary school libraries since Fall 2008, with four additional scheduled for the 2010 calendar year.

认捐图书馆

“认捐图书馆”是公司奉献爱心的主要方式，这样身处落后地区的少年儿童们将因此终身受益。我们鼓励公司员工参与到图书馆捐赠活动中来，这些经历将让他们亲身体会到图书馆捐赠为这些受捐学校的孩子们带去了怎样的变化。捐赠活动结束后，捐赠方将收到一份捐赠报告，内容包括图片以及各个捐赠环节中的细节。

浦菲沃从2008年秋天开始至今共认捐了3所农村小学图书馆。在即将到来的2010年，他们还将认捐4所新的农村小学图书馆。

Book Collections

Conducting a book collection at your company is a great way to make a difference with very little money and effort. We have developed a Book Collection How-To-Guide to help with planning a book collection at your company.

Example of Involvement
ClarkMorgan conducts book collections at each of their "demo" courses which have supported over 15 elementary school library donations located in Sichuan and Shaanxi Provinces.

Host an Event

Hosting an event is a great way to get involved at The Library Project. Volunteers hosting small grassroots events are a huge reason for our ability to provide libraries to support so many elementary schools and orphanages with a gift of a library.

Example of Involvement
The Robert H. Smith School of Business has hosted three annual charity fundraisers in Shanghai, China. They have raised funds for 46 rural elementary school library donations located in the Anhui Province, China.

举办筹资活动

举办筹资活动是众多志愿者参与到中华捐书会捐赠活动中的主要方式。由志愿者举办的各种大众型筹资活动为许许多多的农村小学和孤儿院筹集到了形式多样的儿童图书馆。

参与
马里兰大学罗伯特•史密斯商学院已经在中国上海成功举办了三届慈善年会。他们所筹集的资金已经惠及中国安徽省的农村小学图书馆捐建当中，到时将有46所小学从中受益。

About The Library Project

The Library Project has established over 200 elementary school libraries located in 19 provinces throughout China. We've put more than 150,000 Chinese language children's books into the hands of eager young readers. Over 50,000 children now have access to improved educational infrastructure.

Legal Information

The Library Project, Inc. has 501(c)(3) status with the USA IRS, establishing it as an International NGO. All donations by an American company or individual are 100% tax-deductible in the USA. The Library Project's Tax-ID # is 20-1347443.

The Library Project has partnered with the Xi’an Charity Association to provide books and libraries to rural elementary schools in China. The Library Project can issue tax-deductive Chinese fapiaos in the name of the Xi’an Charity Association.
