Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai’s Commitment to Rural Literacy

On October 18th, Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai, celebrated their 5th anniversary by hosting a celebration at their beautiful hotel. During that time they made a commitment to supporting rural literacy with the donation of a school library that will be completed by year’s end.

This is not the first time that Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai has supported The Library Project. Over the past five years, they have donated four libraries located throughout China. These libraries can be found benefiting 1,200 students at primary school in Anhui, Shaanxi and Guangxi. Andaz employees joined each of their library donations as volunteers, setting up furniture and conducting literacy activities with students.

Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai has been a true partner over the years, introducing The Library Project to other Hyatt properties and helping to raise awareness of the importance of rural literacy.

Thank you, Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai and your entire team, for your continued support of rural literacy!
