Adopt a Library & Adopt a School District The Library Project have developed "Adopt a Library" and "Adopt a School District" programs. Both of these programs are a great way for people to make a substantial difference in the lives of children living in the developing world. You will receive a Library Completion Report, photos, and regular updates throughout the process of your libraries. The Library Project can accomplish quite a bit with very little funds. We are currently seeking donations for projects that range from $500 - 1000, and $250 - 500. Both are very different from each other. $500 - $1,000 The Library Project has remote elementary schools that are in need of libraries. For as little as $500 - $1000 you can provide hundreds of children's books, and furniture for a library. Because books are our most expensive budget item that goes into creating a library, book collections really help keep the costs very low. For as little as $250 - $500 you can provide a library to a rural elementary school or orphanage. Community Based Book Collections The Library Project conducts community based book collections throughout China in order to get books into elementary schools, orphanages and children's street shelters for very little money. For $250 - $500 we are able to provide 500 to 3,000 Chinese language children's books, plus tables, chairs, and books shelves where appropriate. This is simple and cheap way to make a very real impact in the lives of countless children that will be given the gift of books because of your donation.
